UHMW-PE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) s a high-density polyethylene with extremely long chemical chains and an average molecular weight of about 1 million or more. The longer chain serves to transfer load more effectively and results in a very tough material. It has low friction coefficient, abrasion resistance, and best impact strength.
